If you are after a tried and tested naturally occurring killer for worms, caterpillars or gypsy moths, then this product from Monterey packed full of Bacillus Thuringiensis (Bt) will do just the trick. Bt has been around since the 1950s and is safe to use without harming insects and animals you want to see in your garden, such as bees, birds and friendly earthworm Jims. As soon as a bug tastes this product on your leaves it will head off away from the treated plant.
The pros of this product are that a little goes a long way, it is highly effective against unwanted worms, caterpillars and superb against gypsy moths. It is also approved organic and suitable for use on products right up to the day of harvest. Unfortunately, this product stinks and is a little expensive given the size of the bottle, even though you won’t need a lot for it to be effective.
