Other information – This attractive species can be found in just one coastal Alabama county. The plant is easy to identify becasue of its yellow flowerheads and thin leaves, which are often involute. The stems of this plant are also usually much-branched in the apical 2/3. The thin leaves are dense on the stem.
The species epithet angustifolia derives from the Latin “angust(i)” meaning “narrow” and “foli(a)” meaning “leaves”.
